Milton Keynes Pub | Policy

We reserve discretion over who we allow into our local pub without causing any form of violating discrimination laws.

We have regular security to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our customers to have a safe, peaceful, socially friendly day and evening without any drama occuring.

It's illegal for us to:
  • Sell, or attempt to sell, alcohol to someone who is drunk;
  • Buy alcohol for someone who is drunk;
  • Allow "disorderly conduct" to occur on the premises;
  • Allow you to take alcohol outside of the pub environment

Ok, without nannying you about it, we will keep a look out for you where we can if you're near over consumption of alcohol or we can see you have a low tolerance for it.

But if you happen to be drunk, irrelevant of how much you insist of demand on being served, we are NOT obligated to serve you or permit you onto the premises.

The 2003 Licensing Act gives us, the licensee, the legal power to not serve you, request you leave and even bar you. No arguments.

If for reasons of due care or disturbance of the peace, you will be asked to leave our licensed premises when asked by the police, the licensee, security or someone acting on our behalf.

The nice soundminded person you normally are a few hours prior to your drinking antics that affects your fellowman can get you barred, arrested...and even in trouble with your boss.

So please, drink responsibly and enjoy your night...you don't need to be drunk on your face to enjoy your night out at the New Queen Victoria Pub.
